Dear little one- Maternity Photoshoot

People say that when a child is born, a mother is born too. This seems true.

Munali was a classmate in college where we both were pursuing our graduation. She has always been academically gifted and is a dedicated & passionate teacher now.

We weren't very close in college but continued following each other on social media after graduation. She approached me on Instagram on May 2019 for a maternity photo shoot.

Undoubtedly, I was content to know that she had chosen me to capture her emotional & intimate moments as a mother.

I have shot a couple of baby photo shoots earlier but this was going to be my first maternity one. I was excited & nervous both at the same time as Munali was already 8 months pregnant. During the photo shoot, I requested both of them to hold a card each namely - It's a girl & It's a boy! Hardik was more than confident that they were having a baby girl. Knowing such parents personally who wouldn't discriminate on the gender of their child is exactly the kind of parents this world needs. It was a beautiful & astounding experience to work with such co-operative parents-to-be.

A couple of years down the line when Smahi grows up, I hope she gets to read through this blog and realize how grateful her parents have been all along. She is and will always be her parent's little heaven on earth.
